Leadership excellence is a key competency for the General Manager role which is responsible for the overall oversight of the residence. In this role you will be expected to provide leadership and support to all residence employees; ensure the security, well-being, comfort and dignity of the residents in their enjoyment of retirement living; manage financial resources; ensure the policies and programs provide appropriate levels of care and comfort for residents; implement plans for the residence’s operational and financial success and foster professional and nurturing relationships with the residents.
Resident Services Manager
This position is critical to providing support to the General Manager in the successful management and the day-to day activities of the residence. You will serve as a member of the management team; manage front desk operation as well as the housekeeping department (this may vary depending on residence); handle resident arrivals and departures; respond to resident and family inquires; work with the sales and marketing manager and assist the recreation manager in planning and executing special events.
As our receptionist you will hold a very central position in the residence. Your main responsibilities include answering the telephone; greet and screen visitors; interact with residents in regards to their needs; respond to emergency situations; perform administrative/accounting duties and most importantly, create an inviting and welcoming environment for residents, staff and visitors.
