June Morris, General Manager

Having a variety of nursing experiences, June decided 21 years ago to make seniors the center of her attention. She has an open doors policy, and is committed to ensuring that The Summerhill continues to be the best Retirement Community for residents to call home, families to visit and for staff to work.

Paul Marshall, Food Services Manager

Paul has years of experience with landmark organizations such as The Hotel Vancouver, the Stanley Park Pavilion and The Dubrulle International School of Culinary Arts. Our residents enjoy the creativity of Vancouver’s finest cuisine, balanced with nutritious home style cooking.

Krystine Schnell, Marketing Manager

Krystine has held various positions in Sales and Administration, in most recent years focusing her efforts in the field of Senior Living.  She received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from the University of Alberta and joins Pacific Arbour with experience and passion for providing service excellence to residents and their families and looks forward to contributing to the continued success of The Summerhill.

Becky Toppings, Recreation Manager

The Summerhill's approach to an active lifestyle is enriched by Becky's energetic personality. Becky's enthusiasm for working with seniors brings fun and vitality to our various recreation activities, and encourages our residents to participate in healthy, active, and spirited living.

Claudine Matlo, Resident Service Manager

Claudine brings to the Summerhill a solid commitment of serving the seniors community. She currently holds a BA in Psychology, is actively pursuing a Master's Degree in Gerontology, and has 10 years of experience in working with the senior's community. A place to call home is important at all stages in life; Claudine works with each resident to cultivate a sense of belonging, connection, and community at The Summerhill.

Tom Carpenter, Building Service Manager

Tom has more than 18 years of experience with physical plant and building services management in retirement residences. He has all the knowhow, foresight, and the deep tool box that he needs to lead our team of dedicated staff to keep The Summerhill in tip top shape.
